W.M. Davis Infrastructure provides underground utility and excavation services for public and private infrastructure projects throughout Ohio. Our experienced field leadership, union workforce, company-owned equipment, and responsive project management allow us to support demanding utility scopes from excavation through testing and closeout.
Water mains, services, hydrants, gravity sewer, force mains, manholes, structures, and utility tie-ins.
Storm sewer, RCP, drainage systems, catch basins, structures, and associated infrastructure improvements.
Utility trenching, excavation, backfill, dewatering, bypass pumping, removals, restoration, and testing coordination.

Our approach combines decades of underground utility field experience with responsive project management, company-owned equipment, and skilled union personnel to help keep infrastructure projects moving safely and efficiently.

Experienced union crews supported by company-owned excavation equipment and project-specific resources.
Experience coordinating with municipalities, utilities, engineers, inspectors, institutional owners, and prime contractors.

Komatsu PC308, Doosan 225, and other excavation resources for utility trenching, structures, and heavy civil work.
UTILITY EXCAVATION
Komatsu PC138 and compact excavation equipment provide flexibility for varying project conditions and utility scopes.
FIELD SUPPORT
Company-owned loader and supporting equipment help our crews manage materials, backfill, site operations, and production.


Program Overview
The W.M. Davis Infrastructure Scholarship Fund was established to support driven, community-minded students pursuing higher education in skilled trades, construction, engineering, or related fields—or those demonstrating strong leadership and commitment to personal growth.
As a growing, woman-owned infrastructure company, W.M. Davis Infrastructure is committed to investing not only in projects—but in people.
Amount: $500 – $2,000 per recipient
Number of Awards: 1–3 annually (based on funding and applicant pool)
Disbursement: Paid directly to the student or institution
Applicants must:
Be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled college/trade school student
Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
Demonstrate leadership, work ethic, or community involvement
Be pursuing:
Skilled trades (construction, heavy equipment operation, etc.), or
Engineering, infrastructure, or related fields, or
Any field with a clear commitment to community impact
Preference may be given to:
Students in Fairfield or Franklin Counties (Ohio) or surrounding areas
Students pursuing careers in construction or infrastructure
Female students entering male-dominated industries
Students with financial need
Applicants must submit:
Completed application form
Short essay (250–500 words):
“How will your education help you build a better future for yourself and your community?”
Proof of enrollment or acceptance
Optional: Letter of recommendation
Applications will be evaluated based on:

Work Ethic – Demonstrated determination and resilience
Community Impact – Desire to give back
Authenticity – Personal story and alignment with values
